“My goal as a therapist is to facilitate this process through providing a warm, safe, and supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and struggles.
I have worked with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, addiction, eating disorders, career development, grief and loss issues, and relationship problems. My approach to therapy is a collaborative approach, where we work together to explore your struggles and enrich your life.
I generally work from a person-centered and family of origin framework. I believe that our experiences from childhood can have a direct effect on our behaviors and thought processes in adulthood. I also believe however that we are all unique individuals and that an integrative approach is essential. Therefore I also strive to incorporate a number of techniques drawing from Narrative Therapy, mindfulness therapies, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
